Mentorship w/ Sharonda

Become a "Shentee" (Sharonda's Mentee)

Mentorship with Sharonda is a personal project dedicated to improving the professional and personal development of young women regardless of race, cultural background, or marital status.

Sometimes it is hard trying to pursue a dream or even have one, especially when everyone around you seems to be going in a different direction. When trying to be successful in this world, it is always best to have someone who either mirrors the life you want, inspires you, or is willing to give you directions to your life-long destination. S Brown Counseling offers mentorship to young ladies in the Metro St Louis area who are eager to dream big.

Fulfilling one’s dreams or beating the “odds” of the culture one is born into, is no easy task. Sharonda knows this challenge all too well, and because of this, each year, she gives back to at least four young ladies seeking a change. She calls them her “Shentees” (Sharonda’s Mentees). Being a "shentee" can last from one year to a lifetime, depending on your status.
